Manhattan

This is a classic, yet fancy drink that is a foundational cocktail of any bar.
Ingredients:
~3 oz Bourbon
~1 oz Sweet Vermouth
~3 dashes angostura bitters
~Cocktail cherries
Instructions: Place bourbon, vermouth and bitters in a shaker with ice and shake. Pour over ice ball (can omit ice ball) into a rocks glass. Rim glass with cocktail cherry, then skewer the cherry and place into glass.
Note that the classic recipe calls for a rye whiskey. I’m personally not a fan of rye, so I use either a Canadian whiskey like Crown Royal or a decent mixing bourbon like Woodford Reserve or Bulleit.
